IGT Firday Night Poker – Texas Hold’em
IGT came introduced a new video poker game called “Friday Night Poker” that is a spin off of “Opponent Poker.” This game has the ultimate graphics of the world famous Texas Hold’em game. This machine with is superb graphics look like you are at home playing with five other friends. The video screen has a poker table with the community cards in the center and five opponents sitting around the table are playing against each other.
When the slot player has sufficient funds, credits, the player places a bas wager of one to five credits with an optional side wager of one to five credits. The pot is initially set to zer and is reset to zero anytime a player or opponent wins the pot or anytime the slot player chooses to split the pot. At the start of each game, the pot is incremented by five times the initial base game wager. There are five community cards that are selected but not dealt from a standard deck of 52 cards. The slot player is dealt two cards faced up from his personal deck of 47 cards consisting of a standard 52 card deck with the five community card deck with the five community cards removed. Each opponent is also dealt two cards face down from each of their personal deck of 47 cards, consisting of a standard 52 card deck with the 5 community cards removed.
The slot player then selects the ‘Check’ or ‘Raise’ button. If the player selects the ‘Raise’ button, then an amount equal to his initial bas game wager is added to his to total wager and the pot is increased by five time the initial base game wager. If the slot player selects the ‘Check’ button, the pot remains unchanged (if the slot player has insufficient credits for a raise, the player may add more credits at this time).
After the initial wager are finished, then the first of three of the five community cards are then revealed. The slot player is again prompted to ‘Check’ or ‘Raise.’ If the slot player select ‘Raise,’ then an amount equal to his initial base game wager is added to his total wager and the pot is increased by five times the initial bas game wager. If the slot player selects ‘Check,’ the pot remains unchanged. If the slot player has insufficient credit for a raise, he may add more credits at this time.
The remaining 2 community cards and all of the opponents’ cards are then revealed. The slot player and each opponent constructs the best five card poker hand consisting of any number of his hole cards and any number of community cards. If the slot player’s five hand is two pair, aces over twos, or better and if that hand does not tie with the other opponent or the player, and if that hand has a higher poker value than the player’s 5 card hand, then that opponent wins the pot and the pot is then reset to zero.
If the highest of the five card poker hand is shared by more than one opponent, or if the highest five cared poker hand is held by the player and one or more opponents, then the pot is not awarded and retains its value for the next game. If neither the player nor any opponent has a five card hand of two pair, aces over twos, or better, then the pot is awarded and the pot retains its value for the next game. If the slot player’s five card hand is a straight flush, and if any opponent is award the pot, or if at least two opponents are tied with a better hand than the slot player’s hand, then the slot player is awarded the bad beat jackpot. The amount of the band beat jackpot depends on the slot player is awarded the bad beat jackpot. The amount of the bad beat jackpot depends on the base be:

If the pot is carried forward for seven consecutive games, and the slot player has a five card poker hand of aces over twos, or better, and at least one opponent holds and equivalent hand, the slot player receives (INT(X/(Y+1)), where ‘x’ is the total pot values and the ‘y’ is the number of opponents who also shared in the highest ranking hand. The pot is then reset to zero. If one or more opponents have a five card poker hand of aces over twos, or better, then the pot is awarded to the opponent(s) and the pot is then rest to zero. If the pot is carried forward for seven consecutive games, and neither the player nor any opponent has a winning hand, the slot player is awarded INT(X/6) and the pot is then rest to zero.
After the poker hand is over, the slot player has the option to split the pot. If he chooses to split the pot, then the slot player is paid INT(X/6) where ‘x’ is the current credit value of the pot. The pot is then reset to zero. If the slot player wagers an optional side bet, then at the end of the play his best five card poker hand is evaluated against the pay schedule below. Any wins are multiplied by the value of the side bet.
