Dick Clark Rockin' New Years Eve

Dick Clark Rockin' New Years Eve

Dick Clark has be an icon on television, dating back to the 1950’s in his hit show entitled, ‘American Bandstand,’ and over the last few decades, Dick Clark has been the New Year’s host of his own show entitled ‘Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.’ The cameras around the world have zoomed in to featured Dick Clark and his show live from Time Square in New York City so that viewers around the world could watch various celebrities and rock and roll bands perform in the ‘Big Apple’ to help count down the time left in the last half-an-hour before the Big Ball drops down all the way to usher in the New Year. IGT has captured that enthusiasm in this 5-mini-reel S-2000 Vision Game and Dick Clark is the featured celebrity in his own slot game. The pay symbols on the reels below are also featured visually on the screen above and this is a five reel, five way multi-pay line that allows the player to wager up to nine bets per line, so the maximum credits to be waged is 45. There are six pay line symbols, namely, Dick Clark’s Rockin’ Eve symbol which is the top payline symbol, followed by the Time to Party Clock symbol; then everybody’s humorous favorite too-much-to-drink symbol, the glassy-eyed Pink Elephant symbol. The next three levels are the party balloons, the party noise-makers, and the party hats worn at every New Year’s Eve parties. Also, Dick Clark’s Rockin’ Eve symbol is wild and substitutes for the Pink Elephant, Time to Party Clock, and Party Balloon symbols. Every pay line symbol must appear on the played line, being on consecutive reels, and the symbols must begin with the very far left reel. By having more symbols appear on a played line, the more credits that are being accumulated, because the computerized machine multiplies the lines wins by the number of credits wagered on the winning line. The credits won by the player are recorded at the top of the screen by having the number of credits won per line placed in each appropriate colored-square box and the grand total is given in the white-squared box, so the player can see the credits of each play won per line in each play.

The first bonus round occurs when three or more Ball Drop Bonus symbols appear on the played line and the LCD screen is divided up into four sectional squares, featuring the lighted ball on top of the Time Square building, previous recorded video and audio of detailed overview of Times Square, and Dick Clark himself; the crowd shouts the countdown with Dick Clark as the ball drops, so when the number zero is reached, the total number of credits is revealed. The more of these symbols landing on the payline, the greater is the number of credits multiplied times the line bet. The second bonus round is reached when three or more champagne bottles have landed on a payline. For instance, starting from the far left reel, if four bottles are on any given payline, then four bottles are displayed on the video screen; the same scenarios happen on the video screen if three or five bottles come into play. The cork of each bottle is popped to toast in the New Year and the credits are revealed at the top of each bottle and video celebrations are in full swing to celebrate the start of the New Year. Again, the more champagne bottles, on the given payline, the more credits that are accumulated by having those credits multiplied times by the line bet. This IGT S-2000 Vision video slot game is sure to please any party animal in your family with the sights and sounds of Times Square in New York City.
