The slot players select one of the twelve signs of the horoscope to reveal the number of free spins earned. After the selection, a grid of 15 positions is displayed. In one spin, each of the 15 positions independently reveals a horoscope sign. A pay value is added to the win meter for each horoscope sign on the grid that matches the selected sign. The Top Story bonus game is initiated when three Top Story symbols land anywhere on a played payline on reels one, two and three. If the bonus is initiated with multiple lines the bonus win is multiplied by the number of initiating lines. The first sub-bonus is the Crown Hunt bonus where 12 selectable squares and a top multiplier piece are presented. One of the twelve squares contains a crown. Squares are selected until the crown is revealed. Each selection has an associated multiplier value. The multiplier value is ten for the first selection and declines by one for each of the next eight selections. A multiplier value between two and ten is chosen from the weighted table below for all selections after the ninth selection. The next sub-bonus is the Hide from the Paparazzi bonus where the slot player pick one of the 12 selectable squares at a time which contains eleven pay values and one multiplier value are presented. The third sub-bonus in the Top Story bonus is the Hollywood Heart Throbs Bonus where 16 selectable squares are presented containing three squares each of five different colors and an extra pair square. Each of the colored squares reveals a pay value if selected. Squares are selected until two squares of the same color have been revealed. If two squares of the same color are revealed and the extra pair square has not been revealed, then the sum of the two pay values corresponding to the two squares of the same color are awarded and the bonus ends. If the extra pair square has been revealed when two squares of the same color are revealed, then selections are made until a second pair of squares of the same color is revealed. Upon achieving two matching pairs of the same color, the sum of the four pay values associated with the two matching pairs are awarded and the bonus ends. All wins are multiplied by the initiating line bet.

The next sub bonus is the Can You Break the World’s Record bonus where five columns each containing six squares are presented and a selection is made from the first column. Only one square may be selected per column. Each square reveals a pay value, an award all symbol, or an end symbol. If the selection reveals a pay value in columns one through four, then the value is added to the bonus win meter and a selection is made in the next column. If the selection reveals an award all symbols, then all of the pay values in the column are added to the win meter and a new selection is made in the next column. If the selection reveals an end symbol, then the amount on the bonus win meter is awarded and the bonus ends. If a pay value is selected in the fifth column, then the value is added to the win meter, the amount on the bonus win meter is awarded, and the bonus ends. The fifth and final sub-bonus in the Top Story bonus is the Reductions and Enlargements bonus and in this bonus three characters are presented. One character is selected by the slot player revealing a pay value. The pay value is then “rolled up” from two to seven times. The revealed pay value is then multiplied by the “rollup value” is shown on the win meter. Of the two remaining characters, one contains a bonus multiplier. The slot player then selects one of the two remaining characters. If the bonus multiplier is not revealed, the value on the win meter is awarded and the bonus ends. If the bonus multiplier is revealed, the value on the win meter multiplied by the bonus multiplier is awarded and the bonus ends. All wins are multiplied by the initiating line bet.
